This year’s program allows local residents to make the
holidays special for a struggling family.

[view:node_ad=5]If you’re looking for a way to make a difference this
holiday season, the Single Mothers Outreach Adopt-A-Family program is already
getting underway.

Through the program, residents can sign up to “adopt” a
local family in hardship. The family, who has been pre-screened by Single
Mothers Outreach, then fills out a wish list of items they are in need of. The
participants fulfill the wish list, oftentimes for as little as $25 per family
member.

The gifts are then dropped off for the family right before
the holidays, so they can be unwrapped by the family on the special day.
