From August 21 through January 30, 2011, the Ag Art Alliance will present the third annual “Art about Agriculture” exhibit which will be displayed at the Santa Paula Art Museum.
“Art About Agriculture” features art by 40 artists working in both two and three dimensional media who create art that draws inspiration from our agricultural heritage or contemporary agriculture. This includes depictions of rural landscape, farm animals, farm products, rural life, and art that deals with issues and ideas related to agriculture.
The purpose of the exhibit is to promote art about agriculture by exploring all the facets of agriculture from workers to machinery, to soil, and to food that goes on our plates.
