The American Legion Riders, a group of veterans and their supporters who are traditionally seen astride their Harleys, are parking for the next two weeks to help their brothers and sisters.
Tomorrow from 6 a.m. to noon, a rummage sale will be held in the parking lot of the post at 24527 Spruce Street to raise funds for the post and its charitable causes.
On Saturday, October 2, from 6 to 11 p.m., the Post will have a fundraiser dinner to help the family of Past Commander, Carl Beatley, the popular post leader who recently passed away. The dinner/dance will be held at the Post on Spruce Street.

Live entertainment will be provided by the group Train Wreck and the evening will include dancing and a raffle. Diners have a choice of tri-tip or chicken for dinner and tickets are $15 at the door. Ticket purchased in advance come with a drink voucher.
