The Amgen tour will once again pass through Santa Clarita.
[view:node_ad=5]The largest cycling event in America, the Amgen Tour of California,
brings cycling teams from all over the world to race across California from February 14-22.
The stage race passes through Santa Clarita
on stage seven as it approaches its last leg of the over 800 mile race.
Amgen has now announced the eight pro teams
that will be racing this year. They
include:

have invited the best teams that the world has to offer to compete on an
outstanding course. The success of the race, combined with an updated,
world-class route will ensure a level of competition that is unprecedented in
the United States,”
said Andrew Messick, president of AEG Sports, presenter of the race.
On top of the pro teams, Amgen has also confirmed that Lance Armstrong and the
two-time defending champion of the Amgen Tour of California Levi Leipheimer
will be racing.
The
tour has been recently expanded to over 800 miles and races from Sacramento to San
Diego.
