AMS Fulfillment employees are preparing for big crowds Saturday and Sunday for the company’s summer blowout sale.

The store is offering up to 75 percent off its prices, according to company officials.

“When people walk in and start looking around the No. 1 reaction is to take out their cellphone and call their friends,” said Ken Wiseman, CEO of AMS Fulfillment.

The sale takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and on Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“These sales are fun for us. We move so much product directly into stores and directly to consumers, but rarely do we have a chance to interface directly with the public,” Wiseman said.

An abundance of different footwear will be on sale. Accessories, jewelry, handbags and purses — among many other items, will be available, as well.

“A lot of our clients have a product that they were interested in giving some really steal deals on, and so we started doing these warehouse sales,” Wiseman said.

Shoes from Australian designer brands Emu and Ukala will be there. The skateboarding brand C1RCA also will have apparel available.

Other brands offered are Luv Footwear and Closet Candy, among many others.

“These are companies that you’ve seen in retail and now you’re going to get 50-75 percent off prices that you normally would,” Wiseman said.   

The building is located on 29010 Commerce Center Drive at Witherspoon Pkwy. The entrance is at the rear of their warehouse building.

“All my staff and staff friends are excited to work it. Oddly, they usually spend more money themselves than they make on the weekend,” Wiseman said.

The company recognizes that leasing a building can be a long-term commitment. While some companies are growing quickly, others are downsizing. They mitigate both the growth and the downsizing.

“Companies choose to warehouse their product with us,” Wiseman said. “We receive it from wherever it’s originating, store it, and then ship it out.”
