Animal Rescue Nonprofit Asks Residents To Help Save Dog’s Life

MacyHeadtiltLGNewhall-based nonprofit animal rescue and boarding facility, New Leash on Life, is seeking help for Macy, who needs surgery to save her life.

Due to a shunt in her liver, toxins are not being filtered properly. Instead, they are going into her blood stream. The toxins have even reached Macy’s brain, and have caused two brain seizures. Thankfully, a veterinarian that works with NLOL says there is no permanent brain damage.

NLOL is asking community members to help finance Macy’s surgery. The veterinarian is hopeful that Macy can pull through this rough patch once the surgery is performed.

Please help finance Macy’s surgery by making a tax-deductible donation.
