Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast To Be Held At Hyatt

khts_inthecommunityThe Dunamis Group will host the 6th annual Mayors Prayer Breakfast at 7 a.m. May 6 at the Valencia Hyatt and have invited some high profile community leaders from Santa Clarita and it’s neighboring cities.

Mayor Laurene Weste of Santa Clarita, Mayor Patti Walker of Fillmore, and Mayor Jim Tovias of Santa Paula are some of the guests that are expected to attend.

 

According to their website, the goal of the Dunamis Group is to “promote Christian business professionals and business men by providing a forum for the exchange of information and support.”

Organizers are pleased with the community’s participation in the event.

“It started off with a 125 people and we are coming up on our 6th year, and every year it grows,” said Joe Messina, Chairman for the Dunamis Group.

This year’s keynote speaker is forner Texas legislator Rick Green, co-host of “WallBuilders Live,” a faith-based conservative group.

Community leaders from around Santa Clarita are also invited including: Congressman Howard “Buck” McKeon, State Senators Tony Strickland, and George Runner, State Assembly Members Cameron Smyth, Audra Strickland, and Steve Knight.
