The SCV Teen Hero Recognition Ceremony honors youth who have demonstrated hard work and determination in overcoming serious life obstacles as part of the city’s Anti-Gang Task Force.

Honorees received commendations from Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich, Assemblyman Scott Wilk, Senator Steve Knight, United States Congressman Howard Buck McKeon, the City of Santa Clarita and local businesses.

The Anti-Gang Task Force is comprised of city staff, law enforcement volunteers, and local agencies who work toward the common goal of steering youth away from gangs and negative behavior through a variety of programs that build life skills and self-esteem.
