Supervisor Offers $10,000 Reward for Information
Leading to Arrest of Highway 14 Shooter
Los Angeles – In the wake of yesterday’s car-to-car freeway shooting on Highway 14 in the Santa Clarita Valley, Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich has called for mandatory life sentences for those convicted of freeway shootings and has proposed a $10,000 reward for information leading to the shooter.
“Perpetrators of this reckless and wanton criminal act have no regard for human life and deserve life sentences,” said Supervisor Antonovich. “It is our hope that this reward will encourage the public to step forward with any information about the suspects so they can be brought to justice.”
The Board of Supervisors will consider Supervisor Antonovich’s motions on Tuesday, May 10.
