Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich announced that Rosalind Wayman will serve as his Field Deputy for the Santa Clarita Valley beginning Feb. 1, 2007.
Rosalind was previously District Director for Los Angeles City Councilwoman Wendy Greuel, Cultural Affairs Administrator for the City of Santa Clarita and General Manager of the Los Angeles City Department of Neighborhood Empowerment.
Growing up in Newhall, Rosalind attended Newhall Elementary School , Placerita Jr. High School and graduated from William S. Hart High School . She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University Northridge and also attended Richmond College in London .
“With a strong emphasis on constituent service, Rosalind has a wealth of experience as a proactive community liaison,” said Antonovich. “With deep ties in the Santa Clarita Valley, Rosalind will be a positive addition to our staff and an asset to our residents.”

Rosalind, who has been active in numerous service groups and committees including Zonta International, the Zonta Club of the Santa Clarita Valley and Santa Clarita Valley Boys and Girls Club, replaces Bob Haueter who has accepted a position with Congressman Buck McKeon’s office.
