Antonovich Offers Reward In Poison Letter Investigation

Letter was mailed to Lancaster Child and Family services
office.

 

 

[view:node_ad=5]The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously
approved a motion by  Supervisor Michael
D. Antonovich offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest
and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for mailing an envelope laced
with arsenic to the Lancaster Office of the Los Angeles County Department of
Children and Family Services.

 

On Monday,
November 17, 2008 at 11:30 a.m.,
the threatening letter laced with arsenic was discovered at the Los Angeles
County Department of Children and Family Services office located on Avenue J in
Lancaster.  Suspicious packages were also sent to DCFS
offices in Chatsworth, Covina, El
Monte, and Baldwin Hills.

 

Supervisor Antonovich is asking  witnesses of this crime or anyone with
information to contact Sgt. Michael Kelleher at the Los Angeles County
Sheriff’s Department at (323) 881-7891.
