Antonovich To Host Trail Dusters Horseback Ride

Santa Clarita residents can participate in a community horseback ride on the scenic trails of Cliffe Stone on Sunday, May 19.

The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation and Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich will host the Antonovich Trail Dusters Ride beginning at 9 a.m. Check in and a pancake breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. The day’s events will conclude with a barbecue and live country-western music.

The ride will include a combination of rolling hills, scenic semi-steep hills and level areas. The ride will last approximately 3.5 hours with two scheduled rest stops.

The staging area is 28515 San Francisquito Road in Santa Clarita.

The fee is $30 per person, and horse rental is not included. Non-riders are welcome. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The organizers request that participants not bring stallions or dogs. Pre-registration is required. The deadline for registration is Friday, May 17.
