In an alarming set of robberies today, two young men, aged 16 and 17 held up six kids with a replica 45 caliber pellet gun.
There were two robberies, 15 minutes apart on Camp Plenty Road this afternoon.
Two separate groups of kids were walking on Camp Plenty, when one robber approached them on foot as the other awaited in a dark green Ford Explorer.
The robber on foot then brandished the pellet gun, which looks exactly like a real handgun, and demanded money and property from the victims.
The suspects fled before Deputies could respond, however a crime broadcast of the vehicle and suspect description was made.
A little later, a Newhall patrol unit noticed the vehicle and pulled it over, finding the stolen property and pellet gun.
The two young men were arrested and the Ford Explorer was impounded.
The victims of the robberies range in age from 16 to 8 years old.
Both the suspects and the victims’ names were not released due to their age.
