The man arrested in connection with a series of armed robberies in Santa Clarita has been sentenced by a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge.
Christopher Johnson, 25, of Canyon Country was sentenced to 65 years and four months in state prison for the armed robbery of a string of liquor stores, that started in January and ended April, 2006.
Johnson was arrested April 7, 2006 by deputies patrolling a liquor store parking lot who matched him to the description of the suspect in other robberies.{mosimage}
Johnson was found guilty in the robberies of Canyon Market, Oak Tree Liquor, Circle K, Little Pleasures, King Liquor, Fox Liquor, Quick Stop Liquor, EZ Stop Liquor, Country Liquor and H&J Liquor Mart.
Johnson reportedly used a gun in all the hold ups and fired it at least twice but no one was injure.
