Artists Association To Host Reception For Art Exhibit At Barnes and Noble

RickJoyceMoore3On Saturday, February 12th,  Santa Clarita Artists’ Association (SCAA) will hold a reception for the art exhibit that will be featured at Barnes & Noble. A wide variety of art will be on display in the community room at Barnes and Noble located in Valencia.

“We are looking forward to the exhibit and appreciate Barnes and Noble’s hospitality to partner with us in this community undertaking. This is a joint effort to make art visible to all, ” said Zony Gordon, President of SCAA.

SofenGood“In addition to inviting the community to view these spectacular works of art, “said Lori Christian, Barnes and Noble Community Relations Manager, “we are proud to continue a long Barnes and Noble tradition of helping support arts and literacy organizations by donating a percentage of our sales back to SCAA on the day of the reception. Those wishing to support SCAA just have to mention the organization at any of the registers in our store (including our cafe) between 9 am and 11 pm. Our community room will also be open to the public following the reception until 9 pm.

Barnes and Noble, located on 23630 Valencia Blvd. will feature the art exhibit from Feb. 12 through Feb. 19. The reception will be held from 1to 5 p.m.
