Filming is scheduled to have Old Town Newhall as their backdrop Friday, with one production featuring a car flip and mock gunfire.

On Friday, Dec. 14, the television drama series S.W.A.T. is set to film at Double Trouble Wine Room, located at 24338 Main St.

The second location for filming is set to be at the intersection of 8th Street and Walnut Street.

Crews for the production are warning residents of scenes that are expected to feature precision driving with a car flip stunt, as well as mock weapons with mock gunfire.

For both sets, filming is scheduled to take place between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., when road closures will also be in effect.

The road closures will begin on 8th Street from Railroad Avenue to Main Street, as well as 8th Street from Main Street to Newhall Avenue.

There will also be an additional road closure on Walnut Street from 9th Street to Market Street.

The parking structure and lot at 6th Street and Main Street will also be closed to the public, according to the Santa Clarita Film Office.

Throughout the duration of the filming, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputies will be on-site for traffic control and safety, according to officials.
