About Kenny Loggins

Kenny Loggins was born in Everett, WA, with his family living in Detroit and Seattle before settling in Alhambra, CA. Loggins began songwriting at a very early age, and got his first big break when he teamed up with former Buffalo Springfield member Jim Messina. The pair became hugely popular with college crowds, and reached chart-topping success with the smash hit Your Mama Don’t Dance in 1972.

Splitting with Messina in 1977, Loggins embarked on a solo career that included several chart topping hits, Grammy nominations, and an Oscar nod for his work on the Footloose soundtrack. Grammy awards include Best Pop Vocal Performance for This Is It in 1981. He also shared a Grammy with Michael McDonald, co-penning the Doobie Brothers hit What a Fool Believes in 1980.

Kenny Loggins continues to record and tour, with no signs of slowing down.

  1. Truly one of the best concerts we have ever been to! Always big fans of Kenny’s music, last night’s 90 minutes of non stop entertainment exceeded everyone’s expectations! Kenny still sounds amazing and together with his band – they slayed every one of his hit songs!

My wife and all of our friends in attendance were thrilled to be part of this intimate concert and overjoyed to learn that all of the evening’s proceeds were donated to the high school’s marching band!

Kenny Loggins is the real deal and remains a class act!
