The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center nominates local movie buffs to apply for positions as assemblers for the Academy Awards. Adecco representatives are scheduled to conduct interviews at College of the Canyons every Thursday.
The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center officials encourages movie enthusiasts to apply for more than 100 positions as Assemblers to package DVDs for the Academy Awards.

People interested must complete an online application and submit their resume to the online recruitment and workforce solutions site, click here to submit your resume.
Every Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Adecco representatives will identify qualified candidates and conduct a series of interviews through July 31, according to WorkSource Center officials.
The interviews are sceduled to be at the WorkSource Center in suite 250 of the College of the Canyons’ University Center, located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road. Applicants must bring a copy of their resume, a state issued ID such as a driver’s license and Social Security Card or Passport.
Candidates must be 18 years old, reliable and able to work felxible eight hour shift schedules Monday through Friday. Work is guaranteed until January and competitive wages start around $9 per hour. Additional incentives are also available such as benefit packages to temporary emplyees.
The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center is a free job resource center that connects job seekers and employers. Businesses can finds qualified candidates, customized training resources and assistance.
The WorkSource Center also helps individuals looking for a new or better career find skilled employment specialists, hundreds of local job listings, training resources and full-service technical centers with phones, fax machines, copiers, computers with internet access and resume building tools.
The WorkSource Center is made possible through funding and support from a variety of partners. All services are provided to employers and job seekers at no cost through the Federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and the City of Santa Clarita in partnership with the Employment Development Department (EDD), the County of Los Angeles Community and Senior Service, and College of the Canyons.
