The Los Angeles County Arts Commission’s Organizational Grant Program (OGP) is now welcoming applications for its 2006-07 grant program, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
The Organizational Grant Program provides grants to approximately 200 regional nonprofit arts organizations to create visual and performing arts projects, strengthen infrastructure, and provide access to the arts for children and adults. Complete guidelines, instructions, application forms, and lists of past grantees are available at
http://www.lacountyarts.org/fundingops.html. Grant applications must be submitted electronically via eGRANT, a Web-based program, and fundable activities may take place no earlier than July 1, 2006.
Deadlines vary by OGP category, which is determined by the organization’s revenue for its most recently completed fiscal year.
They are as follows:
OGP III (more than $1,500,000) on Wednesday, October 26, 2005
OGP 2.5 (between $500,000 and $1,500,000) on Wednesday, November 30, 2005
OGP II (between $100,000 and $500,000) on Wednesday, November 16, 2005
OGP I (less than $100,000) on Wednesday, December 14, 2005
