Free kit given out to families.
On Friday, Assemblyman Cameron Smyth and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department joined together to help prepare families for the worst case scenario.
Free child safety kits, which organize a child’s fingerprints, picture and important information, were given out to all families. The fingerprinting was conducted on site with the help of Smyth’s district staff. Even the Assemblyman got into the mix, personally fingerprinting several children at the booth.
