Assistance League of Santa Clarita will team with Sears and Haggar Clothing for “Pantcycling Days” in April. Customers will be able to “Change Their Pants for Charity,” an event that features a unique twist on charitable giving, with Assistance League benefiting.
When customers visit a participating Sears location during April 16 – 25 and present the sales associate with a gently used pair of pants in wearable condition, they will receive a certificate good for $5 off a pair of new Haggar pants.
Donated pants will be given to Assistance League of Santa Clarita to raise funds for its community-based philanthropic programs. In the Santa Clarita Valley this includes Operation School Bell® which serves over 1600 children in need locally each year.
Chapter President Jeannie Carpenter expressed her thanks to Sears and Haggar Clothing for selecting Assistance League as the beneficiary of this event. “This generous donation will allow us to serve many more people in need through our programs,” she said.
Assistance League of Santa Clarita is one of 122 Assistance League chapters nationwide. Its 26,000 member volunteers serve 1.2 million people per year, returning over $35 million back to their communities.
