Massive manhunt leads to tip for detectives.

A suspect sought for attempted murder was arrested Monday
morning in Canyon Country by COBRA detectives.

Jeremy Mark Singh, 20, was the subject of a massive search
that included posting his picture online and around the community. He is suspected
of attempted murder and other offenses for his part in a Sept. 14 stabbing
incident at the Sierra Canyon Apartments.

Acting on a tip, detectives went to the home of Laura Jean
Mathis, 24, on Palo Verde Drive
in Canyon Country, where Mathis consented to a search of her apartment. Singh
was found hiding in a closet.

Mathis was arrested for harboring a fugitive and is being
held at the Santa Clarita station.
