Automobile Collision Causes Widespread Outage

Approximately 10,700 Edison customers affected.

A traffic incident at 10:20pm on Monday night involving a car and a power line on Bouquet Canyon Road near Centurion Way caused a widespread power outage in the areas of Saugus and Canyon Country.

Approximately 10,700 people were initially affected by the outage, with listeners reporting a loss of power in many neighborhoods near Bouquet Canyon, Plum Canyon, and Via Princessa. Some power has been restored, and Southern California Edison officials are working to re-route power to restore service to the areas still affected.
