AYSO Soccer Signups Start

Local schools hosting signups.

 

 

[view:node_ad=5]Registration for the upcoming Fall AYSO soccer season is ongoing for Newhall, Valencia, Stevenson Ranch and surrounding areas. Walk in registration will be held at a series of elementary schools or you can register online at www.ayso678.org until May 31

Registration will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the following dates at these schools:

May 8: Old Orchard Elementary, 25141 N. Avenida Rondel

May 13: Valencia Valley Elementary, 23601 Carrizo Dr.

May 15: Meadows Elementary, 25577 N. Fedala Rd.

May 31: Registration officially closes.

AYSO Region 678 offers a wide variety of age-specific soccer programs, with recreational programs for children ages 4 to 7, and competitive programs for kids ages 8 to 18, with league play and playoffs, and well as, all-stars and year-round tournament opportunities. Every child who registers will be placed on a team and each kid plays 75 percent of every game. Practices will begin in mid-August, with the season kicking off in early September through November. Games are played on Saturdays.

There are also many opportunities for parents to volunteer on the Region board, ranging in time commitments, from helping at registration, to refereeing, fund-raising, game-day monitoring and more. It's a great way to get more involved in your community.
