On February 26th, at the Santa Clarita United Methodist Church, harmony will be the rule of the evening. The 8th annual High School Barbershop Quartet Contest will take over the night, and if history is any indicator, it should deliver the kind of entertainment value you very rarely get to see.
Barbershop singing is complicated enough to begin with. Difficult harmonies and incredible timing make the show a real treat to the senses, and when you throw a competition into the mix, well, you’ve got a show.
The evening is being sponsored by the Harmony Hills Chorus, who provide coaching and assistance to competing barbershops in the area.
Whether you’re looking to try something new, or you’re just looking for some of the good time music that you love, February 26th will no doubt be a night you will remember.
