Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officials are reporting that they responded to a bear sighting Friday night in the Valencia area.

[view:node_ad=5] According to Lt. Mark Hershey, several calls came to the Santa Clarita station around 9:30 p.m., and residents reported seeing the bear walking in the area of Rancho Adobe Rd., near McBean Pkwy and Ave Navarre.

Department of Fish and Game officials responded to the area.
