Large disturbance results in multiple arrests

Recently, Santa Clarita Sheriff's deputies responded to the 17300 block of Sarita Avenue to reports of a large fight in the backyard of a residence.

 

[view:node_ad=5]Upon arrival the deputies discovered a substantial amount of blood on the back patio at the location and contacted several uncooperative individuals. As the deputies attempted to locate any potential victims and determine what had happened, they were reportedly harassed by the party goers who refused to comply with their requests and even locked the house.

 

The disturbance ended when deputies arrested seven individuals. Deputies checked the residence and surrounding area, but where not able to determine the source of the blood, so the investigation is ongoing.

 

All seven individuals were arrested on misdemeanor charges of Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer. They were later released on citations pending future court proceedings.
