Vincent Tyler Marcelo Babudro, 21, of Blaine, Minnesota, was found deceased in a gold-tan 2002 Volvo, about 300 feet down a ravine off the side of the road.

Babudro was reported missing by his family in Sun Valley on Thursday, November 2.

On October 26, 2017, around 9 p.m., Babudro was last seen in the 8900 block of Helen Avenue in Sun Valley, and had not been heard from since, according to family.

The preliminary investigation indicates Babudro’s car veered left across the eastbound lane on the windy canyon road and onto the dirt shoulder, striking a dirt berm before going over the side of a mountain.

CHP officers believe he was traveling too fast to successfully negotiate the turn.

The vehicle rolled numerous times, causing fatal injuries to Babudro, according to the CHP report.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the report of a car seen down the side of the steep ravine around 11 a.m. Thursday, officers said.

The east-bound lane of Little Tujunga Canyon Rd. was closed from 1-7:30 p.m. Speed is suspected to be a factor in this collision.
