Teacher Fair Set For March 10th

Credentialed teachers interested in a position with five local school districts are invited to attend the annual Teacher Recruitment Fair planned for March 10 at Rancho Pico Junior High School. There will also be workshops for prospective teachers who need information on earning their college degrees and credentials.

Teachers who are fully credentialed or will earn their teaching credentials this spring will be able to pre-register using the on-line service at EdJoin, with links from the Web site of each sponsoring school district. A flyer with registration information is available online through a Teacher Recruitment Fair link at www.hartdistrict.org. Applicants who qualify may be scheduled for interviews on March 10.

Teaching positions open range from kindergarten through 12th grade, with emphasis on special education, speech and language, science and mathematics.
