Work expedited to move completion date up to August 7th.
The nightmarish traffic that has consumed drivers headed through the Bouquet Junction in the middle of town is almost over.
That’s according to Newhall Land Representatives who said that work has been expedited because of traffic problems, and now the project is expected to wrap up on August 7th. That’s roughly two months earlier than the original October completion date.
That news is fantastic for anyone who’s been caught in the bumper to bumper traffic caused by the road work. The intersection sees tens of thousands of cars daily, and it serves as the vital link from Soledad Canyon to Valencia Blvd, and San Fernando Road to Bouquet Canyon.
What will be different?
[view:node_ad=5]- Two sides of the intersection will now have triple left hand turn lanes. Bouquet to Soledad, and Valencia to Bouquet.
- A light was installed that will allow cars exiting the Lowes parking lot on Bouquet Canyon to turn left onto Northbound Bouquet.
- New configuration of the lights at the major intersection will also be completed.
