Bowman Plans E-Waste Collection Event In April

recyclinglogoBowman High School is sponsoring an e-waste collection event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 22 to raise money for ASB projects.

E-waste will be accepted in the parking lot of Santa Clarita Lanes, 21615 Soledad Canyon Road and the collection will be handled by All Green Recycling.

Items that will be accepted include TVs, computer monitors, LCDs and other flat screens, PCs and CPUs, printers, cell phones, PDAs, telephones, modems, laptop computers and servers, DVD players, VCRs, stereos, boom boxes and game consoles, cables, wires, power chargers, microwaves, ink and toner cartridges and anything else that plugs in or uses batteries.

Not accepted are fluorescent tubes or light bulbs, car batteries, household chemicals, paints or solvents, used oil or tires, aluminum cans, plastic bottles or cardboard or household appliances.
