Boy Scouts Name Local “Leaders Of Character”

The Boy Scouts of America and event title sponsor Total Financial Solutions announced the honorees for the Third Annual Santa Clarita Valley Leaders of Character Recognition. 

[view:node_ad=5]The list of distinguished honorees from Santa Clarita Valley business, government, and philanthropy include Bob Kellar, Harold and Jacquie Petersen, as well as Larry and Peggy Rasmussen.


According to event organizers, the honor is presented annually to individuals and couples who personify the character, values, and leadership demonstrated in the Boy Scout Oath and Law in their daily life.  

The recipients will be honored at a dinner reception held at the Valencia Hyatt on September 27th, 2008.

The 2008 recipients join a growing and distinguished fraternity of community and business leaders that can be counted among the Santa Clarita Valley’s Leaders of Character including past recipients: Gary and Myrna Condie, Carl and Jeri Goldman, Kevin and Marilyn Malone, Larry G. and Sue Mankin, Dianne and Roger Van Hook, and Jim Ventress.
