Proceeds from the wine tasting will benefit local Boys & Girls Club students and fund enrichment sports programs.
This “elegant” wine event is said to be a crucial component for the club, said club coordinator Ronda Chobanian.
The evening kicks off at 6:30 pm and consists of select wines provided by Donelan Winery, along with hors d’oeuvres from Salt Creek’s.
This informal event will be held on the front patio of the Salt Creek Grille Restaurant.
In addition to food and wine, the club will feature three exclusive auction items, which will also benefit the club’s members.
As an event that has taken place for the past five years, it has assisted in raising more than $100,000 for the Boys and Girls Club’s Newhall location, which continues to provide students with a safe after-school escape.
Donelan Winery has always provided “amazing wines” for this event, says Chobanian, and Salt Creek Grille continues to be “such a support” this year.
This year’s “One September Night” wine tasting will be hosted by Carl and Terry Kanowsky, who are also active in the club.
Tickets for the wine tasting are now available for purchase online at www.scvbgc.org on a first-come, first-served basis.
The price for the event is $75 per ticket.
