Update: Four Victims Pronounced Dead In Murder-Suicide Investigation In Saugus (VIDEO)

UPDATE: 12:05 p.m. — Officials have confirmed that the victims were found inside their home with gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

During a press conference held on scene, officials would not release the names of the individuals inside the home, but did disclose that the individuals were related: a mother, a father, and two children.

“We’ve also determined this incident appears to be a murder-suicide, where the husband shot and killed all three individuals and then turned the gun on himself,” said officials on scene.

One of the victims was a minor in his “pre-teens,” according to officials on scene.

UPDATE 11:10 a.m.: Homicide detectives are on scene, but officials have yet to confirm whether this is a murder-suicide incident, according to Deputy Medrano, LASD.

10:10 a.m.: “Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are responding to the 28800 blk Startree Lane, Santa Clarita, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of one male adult, two female adults and one male juvenile,” said a news release issued by the Sheriff’s Station Friday morning. “The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.”

Four victims pronounced dead in a shooting investigation at 28800 block of Startree Lane in Saugus, according to officials.

A welfare check occurred at 6:56 a.m. where dead bodies had been found, according to Sgt. Scott Shoemaker.

  1. There were only three victims. Funny how articles having to do with Caucasians, make a perpetrator, the “victim.”
