Family members reportedly found her Wednesday evening.

There was no report of foul play and she was reportedly unharmed, according to preliminary reports to Sheriff’s Station officials.

She told family members she was going to the Canyon Country library with friends, but was later seen on her cellphone on Soledad Canyon Road, near Galeton Road, according to Vianka’s older brother, Rey.

A report was filed with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station on Tuesday night.

“As a matter of course, deputies will be looking into the areas where the girl is known to frequent, following up with relatives and entering the name in a computer system,” said Lt. Tom Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, “so if they’re located we can re-unite them with their family.”

“Deputies follow every lead we possibly can to find the children,” he added.

Attempts to find her through her cellphone yielded only the last place it was used, Rey Salazar said, which was near a gas station at that intersection.

She was last seen around 3 p.m. wearing light blue high-waisted jeans with a black crop top and purple sandals, her brother said.

She is described as 5 foot, 6 inches tall, 95-110 pounds, with braces and shoulder length black hair.

Vianka runs on the cross country team for her high school, Rey Salazar said.

“This is really out of character,” Salazar said, adding she usually picks up her nephew for him and helps him get home. “She’s never gone more than an hour without communicating with us.”

She frequently hangs out at Starbucks with her friends, whom she often meets outside of the Boys & Girls Club facility near Sierra Vista Junior High School.

Vianka is the second Santa Clarita Valley teenage girl to be reported missing by her family in the last two weeks,  officials said.
