Firefighters Respond To Fire At Red Lobster In Valencia

Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to reports of a fire at a Red Lobster in Valencia Tuesday afternoon.

The call was received at 4:29 p.m. and officials were on scene at 4:33 p.m.

“There was some light smoke in the one-story restaurant,” said Inspector Randall Wright with the LACoFD. “There was also about a 5-foot-by-5-foot grass fire.”

There are currently no active fires and officials are continuing to work to clear the smoke form the restaurant, he said. No injuries were reported.

“There were reports of an electrical issue,” Wright said about the cause of the fire.

Officials remain on scene investigating the incident.
