Fire officials are reporting a brush fire at the 24000 block of Magic Mountain Parkway is now 100 percent contained.

Los Angeles County fire received the call at 3:45 p.m. and were on scene at 3:49 p.m., according to fire officials.

One firefighter who was part of an inmate crew sustained minor injuries in the fire, officials said.

The fire reportedly was contained at 3 acres in heavy brush by 6:50 p.m., officials said.

The cause of the fire, which started in the wash in Valencia, is still under investigation.

Arson investigators were still on scene at 7 p.m.
