A seven-vehicle crash on Highway 14 led to a temporary shut down of the freeway while six people were transported to the hospital, five patients were airlifted.

The crash was reported on the northbound side of Highway 14, just north of Sand Canyon Road, around 2:45 p.m.
Not all of the injuries were serious or life-threatening, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials. However, officials did not have any specifics regarding the severity of the injuries.
Officials were loading the last of the people into a helicopter as of 3:40 p.m.
Regular traffic patterns were expected to resume soon, officials said Thursday afternoon.
