Jenny Parks was reportedly killed in the massacre on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday evening, a close friend confirmed.
“Jenny was a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, teacher and so much more,” stated a GoFundMe page created for the Parks family. “She touched many lives. Her life was cut far too short on the last night of the Route 91 Harvest Festival.”
Parks is survived by her husband, Bobby, and young children, Bryce and Leah, as well as her parents, brothers and their families, according to the page.
As of Monday afternoon, almost $13,000 of the page’s $15,000 goal had been raised.
Parks is the second known local victim to lose her life in the incident, with Santa Clarita man John Phippen also killed at the hands of the gunman.
It is currently unknown how many Santa Clarita residents were injured in the Las Vegas shooting, but at least five had been confirmed to be wounded by gunfire as of Monday afternoon.
