A Newhall brush fire on the 25000 block of Green Mill Ave. resulted in LACoFD personnel being called on scene early Wednesday afternoon.

Officials have reported that the Newhall brush fire’s forward progression stopped a little after noon on Wednesday.
“Forward progression stopped at 12:11 p.m., but first responders on scene are still doing cleanup,” Lozano.
The fire was limited to a quarter of an acre, according to officials.
“The initial report said it was a ‘small brush fire on the hillside,'” said Vanessa Lozano, a spokesperson for LACoFD.
Call came in at 11:57 a.m. on Wednesday.
No structures were harmed or destroyed. No reported injuries.
