Sheriff’s Deputies Track Down Man Suspected Of Making Criminal Threats

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies Thursday tracked down a suspect accused of making criminal threats in Canyon Country.

Deputies were conducting surveillance of the suspects home and the suspect ran out of the house, said Lt. Rob Hahnlein of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Deputies apprehended the suspect off Sand Canyon Road, near Lost Canyon Road, at 1:33 p.m.

Deputies had set up containment between Valley View Elementary School and Robinson Ranch Golf Club.
