Two Hospitalized In Agua Dulce Plane Crash

Two people were transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital after their small airplane became tangled in power lines and crashed onto a road in Agua Dulce.

“Both patients are alive and are being transported by Copter 15,” said Keith Mora, inspector for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “Nobody on the roadway was injured and there was no fire caused by downed power line.”

The airplane crashed between Shady Lane and Sierra Highway, Mora said. The plane is currently on the side of the road on Shady Lane.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department was notified at 2:02 p.m. and arrived on scene at 2:12 p.m.

While victim’s identities have not been released, the LACoFireAlerts Twitter account has reported that one victim is male and one is female.

The Federal Aviation Administration and Southern California Edison have been notified, according to the LACoFireAlerts Twitter account.
