Brush Fire Breaks Out In Castaic

UPDATE: Monday 3:12pm 

Fire Department responding to flames off of I-5

[view:node_ad=5]Just before 2:30pm, the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a  brush fire off of the I-5, north of Lake Hughes and south of Templin Highway.

 

Fire officials told KHTS that the immediate response included three helicopters and one super scooper aircraft.

 

Fire crews have made significant progress on the fire, which has reached two acres. No structures are threatened at this time, and the fire is not moving very quickly.

 

High winds have been reported in the area.
