A small brush fire broke out this afternoon on Soledad Canyon Road at the intersection of Oak Street.

The fire was near the bike path right alongside of the road, and fire crews responded quickly to put out the flames before they had a chance to get dangerous.

In today’s high winds, any sized flames could pose a substantial threat, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department is on alert.
