Brushfire Knocked Down In Castaic

At approximately 6:50 PM Friday evening, a brush fire broke out in the Tapia Canyon/Charlie Canyon area of Castaic and burned into the Angeles National Forest.

A total of 10  acres  burned with LA County Fire calling knockdown on this brush fire at 8:30 PM.

Fire crews from LA County and the Forest Department will remain on scene throughout the night to fully contain any hot spots.
