Santa Clarita Valley residents in need of tax assistance before the new year can come to Int’l Tax Network, Inc., a Canyon Country-based business that has been offering tax services to the community for more than 40 years.

Small business owners that have more than 50 fulltime employees will be required to offer health coverage in accordance with new ObamaCare laws beginning in 2015, and Int’l Tax Network staff can offer assistance with related tax credits before the new year.
“Small businesses have to really be aware of the new laws regarding ObamaCare,” Kelly said.

Business owners can receive tax credits for up to 50 percent of their hires health insurance premium payment total, according to the ObamaCare website.
“Tax strategies are an important part of any individual or business,” Kelly said. “The importance of tax strategy is knowing the position you’re in now and what type of tax write-offs you may need between now and the end of the year.”
While taxes aren’t due until April of next year, the quickly approaching end-of-year cut-off date is December 31, giving some residents cause to think about them early.
“We really want to get people prepared for the end of this year,” Kelly said in an earlier interview. “It’s time to do your tax planning right now… Most of the individuals who are self-employed, partnerships or ‘Sub S’ corporations, they all have a December 31 year end.”
