Synergy, which was formed this year by local business professionals to help promote member businesses, wanted to give back to the community.
“As a group, we felt it was important to support our community.” stated Rhona Jukes, the group’s president. Synergy, which can be defined as working together or cooperation, really defines the personality of the group and its members. Many of the group’s members volunteer for at least one of the local non profit organizations. President-elect George Cummings says the group will work toward doing more for the community in 2008.
