Café Rio In Santa Clarita Holds Grand Opening

Café Rio, the newest restaurant in Santa Clarita, opened in its brand new location across from Westfield Valencia Town Center this week.

Cafe Rio Grand OpeningCafé Rio held its grand opening celebration to a packed house on Wednesday, serving tons of freshly made food to the Santa Clarita Valley.

“The response has been overwhelming,” said Stacy Young, marketing director at Café  Rio. “Everytime we open up a new restaurant it is exciting, but there are certain communities that we really look forward to and Valencia is one of them.”

The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce was also on hand for the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony officially making Café Rio a part of our community.

The new Mexican restaurant in Santa Clarita has only been open to the public for a short time, but they already started giving back. Café Rio donated $2,500 to the WiSH Education Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing quality education and programs for students in the William S. Hart Union High School District.

Through the generosity of community and corporate partners, the WiSH Foundation funds programs and initiatives that go beyond what tax dollars provide and help elevate and prepare students for life. For more information on the WiSH Education Foundation, click here.
