Having eaten at Dickey’s in Texas many times and been hunting for excellent REAL BBQ in SoCal (at Texas prices) for 30 years, I was THRILLED to discover a Dickey’s had opened here!
I go 2,3 sometimes 4 times a week. Some of the best brisket I have ever had anywhere… strong smoke flavor, super tender, delicious char… incredible smoked turkey, tender/meaty/smokey baby back ribs, flavorful pulled pork, and some truly excellent side dishes. Large, filling portions at half the price (or less) of Lucille’s (which we love but is $$$)
We take the grandkids there after church (they eat free) and we see a lot of friends there doing the same.
This franchise is family-owned and they are very hands-on. It shows.
It is hands-down the best BBQ in Southern California, and very affordable.
Better go soon before everyone else finds out about it!
