After losing its lease in November 2014, the Lyons Station operation was moved through a temporary emergency relocation action to 25548 The Old Road in the Valencia Marketplace.
This provided a continuation of retail and Post Office Box service while USPS searched for a new permanent location to lease, officials said.
The city of Santa Clarita has been strongly advocating for another Newhall office, and created a website: #KeepNewhallUSPS
Here’s the list of properties being considered for the permanent relocation of Lyons Station, previously located at 23640 B Lyons Avenue, Newhall CA 91321.
23120 – 23128 Lyons Ave. (Wayman Court Center)
23644 Lyons Ave.
23736 Lyons Ave.
25548 The Old Road Unit U1 (Valencia Marketplace – current emergency location)

I like having the postoffice on Lyons Avenue
The best site here is 23736. It is all about the parking. This site has plenty of parking. It is in front of the car wash with a good entrance and exit. The Wayman site is okay but lacks the convenience of closeness to parking.
The other site next to the old site 23644 Lyons would be almost last in my pick. If this is the unit next to the Liquor store on the end of the building where the post office was, it would still have problems with parking a lot of traffic.
